Stock markets both home and abroad continued the rally from October through the month of November. Over those two months the ASX200 rallied ~ 12%. There were two main drivers of the strong bounce in markets: 1) A weaker than expected November US CPI reading and incremental signs that inflation may be abating; and 2) Hope that China would soon end their “zero covid” policies. The recent rally feels like an early christmas present to end a volatile year.
